Season review
Although they didn’t qualify anyone for the national meet, the Mules had two nationally ranked wrestlers and ended the dual-meet season by defeating a nationally ranked opponent.

Justin Fitch February 23: Muhlenberg places sixth at CC Championship
The Mules occupied sixth place at the Centennial Conference Championship at Ursinus with two runner-ups and a third-place finisher. Junior Justin Fitch (left) reached the final bout in the 174-pound weight class.

Matt Horn February 15: Final dual meet ends in upset victory
The Mules closed out their dual-meet season with a 25-21 win against 26th-ranked Messiah. Junior Matt Horn (right) gave Muhlenberg the lead for good with his pin at 184.

David Lavin February 9: Muhlenberg splits CC matches
Junior Billy Hall (left) registered a pair of pins as Muhlenberg split its last two regular season Centennial Conference matches, defeating Washington and Lee, 25-15, and falling to McDaniel, 25-18.

January 30: Shorthanded Mules beaten
Forced to forfeit five weight classes due to injuries, the Mules lost at Ursinus, 47-6.

January 26: Muhlenberg drops two
The Mules fell to host Stevens and nationally ranked Kings Point in a pair of Centennial Conference matches.

Chris Swensen January 24: Two seniors win in home finale
Seniors Chris Swensen (right) and David Lavin both won by decision in their last match at Memorial Hall, but the Mules lost to King’s, 27-12.

January 19: Mules split two conference matches
Muhlenberg split its first two Centennial Conference matches of the season, defeating Gettysburg before losing to host Johns Hopkins.

Michael Slevin January 16: Muhlenberg dominates in home opener
Freshman 133-pounder Michael Slevin (left) recorded one of five pins by the Mules in a 42-9 home win against Scranton.

January 14: Home opener on Wednesday
Two months after starting the season, Muhlenberg will finally compete at home when it hosts Scranton.
