Senior Kristen Bruschi of the Muhlenberg field hockey team has been named to the Division III All-America third team by womensfieldhockey.com and the All-South Region first team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

This was the third straight year on the all-region team for Bruschi, who earned second-team honors each of the last two seasons. A three-time All-Centennial Conference selection, Bruschi led the Mules with 36 points on 16 goals and four assists in 2004. She ranked second in the CC in both goals per game (0.94) and points per game (2.12).

Bruschi finished her career as Muhlenberg’s all-time leader and ranked second in CC history with 59 goals and 135 points. She also set the school record for career assists (17). Bruschi was selected to represent Muhlenberg at the Division III North/South Senior All-Star Game at Westfield State on Nov. 20.
