Season review
Muhlenberg started off strong but could not keep the momentum, despite the efforts of two seniors who wound up among the best in team history at their positions.

December 7: Young saluted for sportsmanship
Senior Megan Young was named to the Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team.

Danielle Losonci December 2: Three named to Academic Honor Roll
Junior Danielle Losonci (left) was one of three Muhlenberg volleyball players named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the fall season.

November 7: Anselmi earns district academic honors
Senior Jess Anselmi was selected to the Academic All-District third team.

October 27: Muhlenberg swept in finale
Muhlenberg ended the 2007 season with a 3-0 loss to Gettysburg.

Senior Jess Anselmi (right) recorded 18 kills and classmate Megan Young contributed 19 digs in the Mules’ 3-0 sweep of Ursinus.

October 20: Mules go 0-2 at F&M
Muhlenberg lost to Franklin & Marshall and St. Mary’s on its final road trip of the season.

October 13: Mules drop two in California
Muhlenberg fell to Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont on its Fall Break trip to Southern California.

October 10: Swarthmore edges Mules in close match
Swarthmore defeated Muhlenberg in a four-game match whose final two games were decided by two points each.

October 9: Eiser named player of the week
Junior Megan Eiser was honored by the Centennial Conference after her triple-double performance.

Megan Eiser October 6: Eiser notches triple-double
Junior Megan Eiser (right) recorded a triple-double with 37 assists, 11 kills and 11 digs in Muhlenberg’s 3-1 win against Delaware Valley. The Mules defeated Washington in four games in their first match to break into the Centennial Conference win column.

Phylicia Lee October 2: Greyhounds sweep Mules
Sophomore Phylicia Lee (left) recorded a career-high 20 kills, but the Mules were swept at home by Moravian.

Christina Cangelosi September 29: Muhlenberg goes 1-1 on Homecoming
Sophomore Christina Cangelosi (right) recorded a career-high 30 digs as Muhlenberg defeated Widener, 3-1, in its second match of the day. The Mules fell to Dickinson in the first.

September 26: Mules swept at Haverford
No. 11 Haverford handed the Mules their third Centennial Conference loss.

Jenny Warmack-Chipman September 22: Coach wins 100th career match
Head coach Jenny Warmack-Chipman (left) reached the 100-win milestone when the Mules defeated Emmanuel, in the Bronze Bracket of the MIT Invitational.

September 21: Tough beginner courses at MIT
Muhlenberg dropped matches to Wesleyan and Bowdoin on the first day of the MIT Invitational.

September 19: Mules drop fifth straight
Muhlenberg was swept by Johns Hopkins, spoiling a milestone night for Megan Eiser.

September 15: Milestone for Young in loss
Senior Megan Young surpassed the 1,000-dig mark in a three-game loss to McDaniel.

September 11: Muhlenberg swept at DeSales
The Mules fell back to .500 with a 3-0 loss.

September 8: Eiser earns second honor
Junior Megan Eiser was named to her second all-tournament team of the year, although the Mules were 0-2 in the Championship Bracket of the Buttermaker Tournament.

Brittany Williams September 7: Mules capture pool at Buttermaker
Sophomore Brittany Williams (right) recorded 10 kills in the last two games to lead Muhlenberg past Susquehanna at the Buttermaker Tournament. The Mules also defeated King’s to reach the Championship Bracket.

Ally Ivaniski September 4: Muhlenberg wins thriller in home opener
Junior Ally Ivaniski (left) combined with classmate Megan Eiser for a block on the last play of the match, giving Muhlenberg a rousing 3-2 win against Richard Stockton in its first home contest of the season.
