Muhlenberg won four singles contests after losing 2-1 in the doubles matches, securing a dramatic 5-4 victory against Franklin & Marshall. Senior Jamie Goldman (left) posted two victories for the Mules at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

April 13: Shoremen snap Muhlenberg’s run
Washington snapped Mules’ four-match winning streak, claiming an 8-1 decision in Allentown.

Robbie Goldwein April 9: Mules extend winning streak
Sophomore Robbie Goldwein (right) pulled out a three-set win at No. 1 singles for the Mules, who won their fourth victory in a row, clinching a 5-4 decision against visiting King’s.

Wayne Mitchel April 6: Muhlenberg picks up second league success
Freshman Wayne Mitchel (left) won at No. 3 doubles in partnership with senior Jamie Goldman during Mules’ 8-1 victory over visiting McDaniel. This was Muhlenberg’s second Centennial Conference win on the season.

Christian Conti April 3: Mules win local derby
Muhlenberg won its first home match of the season, claiming a 5-4 victory against local rival Moravian. With the match tied at four, junior Brian Wernick (right) was leading 3-6, 7-6 (7-5), 5-1 and had a double match point before his opponent sprained his ankle and retired, thus bringing the win to the Mules.

Mark Apostolos March 29: Muhlenberg splits in Baltimore
The Mules split two matches in Baltimore, falling to nationally ranked Johns Hopkins and defeating Goucher. Sophomore Mark Apostolos (left) won at second doubles and third singles in the Goucher match.
