February 23: Upset bid foiled in season finale
The Mules gave nationally ranked Ursinus all it could handle but lost, 72-69, in the last encounter of the season.

Muhlenberg missed out on a chance to clinch a playoff berth when it lost to Dickinson, 59-50. Sophomore Ryan Foster (left) led the Mules with 16 points.

February 16: Muhlenberg drops third straight
Muhlenberg fell to Johns Hopkins, 61-47, for its third loss in a row.

February 13: Mules fall at Swarthmore
Muhlenberg could not hold a two-point halftime lead and lost at Swarthmore, 72-57.

February 12: Bernardini honored
Mule junior Mike Bernardini was named one of the top basketball players in the area.

February 9: Gettysburg snaps home streak
Second-place Gettysburg went on a decisive 18-4 run in the second half to snap the Mules’ homecourt winning streak with a 66-62 decision.

Peter Barnes February 6: Muhlenberg keeps perfect home record intact
Sophomore Peter Barnes (right) scored a career-high 15 points in Muhlenberg’s 75-67 win against Haverford. The victory was the Mules’ sixth without a loss at home in Centennial Conference play and kept them in a three-way tie for third place.

February 5: Mule defense in top 25 statistically
Muhlenberg is ranked 24th in Division III in field-goal percentage defense.

Mike Bernardini February 2: Muhlenberg holds on for win
Muhlenberg nearly lost a 23-point lead, but turned away a fierce McDaniel rally to win, 61-57, and move into a three-way tie for third place in the Centennial Conference. Junior Mike Bernardini (left) was one of three Mule players with 11 points.

January 30: CC leaders slow down Mules
Centennial Conference-leading Ursinus won its 10th straight game, 81-60 against Muhlenberg.

Obi Nwizugbo January 26: Mules win second straight
Sophomore Obi Nwizugbo (right) recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds in the Mules’ 73-69 win against Washington.

Darrell Roth January 23: Muhlenberg snaps skid at home
Muhlenberg snapped a three-game losing streak with a 67-62 home win against Dickinson. Junior Darrell Roth (left) scored a career-high 20 points, and sophomore Peter Barnes pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.

January 19: Muhlenberg comes up short at F&M
Muhlenberg dropped its third straight road game, 67-64 at Franklin & Marshall.

Chris MacIntosh January 16: Mules suffer marathon loss
The Mules battled longtime nemesis Johns Hopkins to triple overtime before falling, 100-91. Junior Chris MacIntosh (right) scored a career-high 12 points.
