Dan Fisher May 3: Mules eliminated in CC playoffs
Muhlenberg ended its season with a 13-6 loss to Haverford in the Centennial Conference playoffs. Sophomore Dan Fisher (left) tripled and was one of two Mules with three hits.

May 2: Muhlenberg falls in first playoff game
Muhlenberg lost to Johns Hopkins, 9-1, in the first round of the double-elimination Centennial Conference playoffs. The Mules will play Haverford in an elimination game.

May 1: Championship preview
Muhlenberg will try to beat Johns Hopkins, one of the top teams in Division III, for the second time this year.

April 30: Conti named player of the year
Junior Christian Conti was named Centennial Conference player of the year after helping lead the Mules to the playoffs. In its last regular-season game, Muhlenberg fell to DeSales, 16-6.

April 28: Playoff schedule set
Muhlenberg will begin the Centennial Conference playoffs at nationally ranked Johns Hopkins.

April 26: Muhlenberg secures playoff berth
Muhlenberg clinched its first Centennial Conference playoff berth since 2003 with a 4-3 win in the first game of a home doubleheader against Washington.

April 25: Susquehanna silences Mule bats
Muhlenberg was held to four hits in a 10-0 home loss to Susquehanna.

April 22: Mules fall at Gwynedd-Mercy
Muhlenberg dropped an 8-3 decision at Gwynedd-Mercy.

Phil Cresta April 21: Cresta named pitcher of the week
Sophomore Phil Cresta (left) earned honors from the Centennial Conference after extending his shutout streak.

Paul Faith April 19: Another gem for Cresta
Sophomore Phil Cresta teamed up with senior Paul Faith (left) on a three-hitter as Muhlenberg won the first game of a doubleheader at McDaniel, 4-0. The Green Terror scored a lot of runs late to win the nightcap, 23-12.

April 18: Mule streak broken in extra innings
Ursinus tied the game with a homer in the ninth and won it in the 10th, snapping the Mules’ five-game winning streak with a 6-5 victory.

Joe Carlo April 15: Muhlenberg blanks Ursinus for fifth straight
Senior Joe Carlo (right) went 4-for-5 to lead a 14-hit attack as Muhlenberg blanked Ursinus, 16-0, for its fifth straight win and its biggest shutout victory in 22 years.

John Kalis April 12: Mules run winning streak to four
Muhlenberg moved into fourth place in the Centennial Conference with a doubleheader sweep at Gettysburg. Junior John Kalis (left) recorded his 100th career hit in the opener and hit an RBI double in the nightcap.

Clint Lynch April 11: Muhlenberg completes sweep of Swat
Freshman Clint Lynch (right) hit his first career home run to break a 2-2 tie, and Muhlenberg went on to complete a season sweep of Swarthmore with an 8-2 home win.

Spencer Joseph April 8: Joseph shines in win at Swarthmore
Freshman Spencer Joseph (left) tossed seven superb innings in his first career start to earn the win as Muhlenberg defeated Swarthmore, 9-2, on the road.

April 7: Conti honored, homers
Junior Christian Conti was named Centennial Conference player of the week, then hit a home run in a 12-3 loss at Dickinson.

Matthew Ordog April 6: Muhlenberg beats nationally ranked Hopkins
Muhlenberg rode an excellent pitching performance from junior Matthew Ordog (right) to an 8-5 win against Johns Hopkins in the second game of a doubleheader. The Blue Jays, who held off a Mule rally to win the opener, 7-6, are ranked ninth in one Division III poll.

Eric Hammond April 2: Bats come back to beat Dickinson
One game after getting one-hit, the Mules pounded out 16 hits in a 14-7 home win against Dickinson. Junior Eric Hammond (left) drove in three runs, while classmate Christian Conti had three extra-base hits and tied a school record.

March 29: Muhlenberg drops doubleheader
The Mules came back from a 9-4 deficit to tie the first game against Franklin & Marshall, but wound up losing, 11-10, then was one-hit in the second game.

March 28: Comeback falls short
Muhlenberg couldn’t catch up from an early deficit and lost at home to Haverford, 11-9.

March 25: Mules win conference opener
The Mules rode the pitching of sophomore Phil Cresta, who worked into the ninth and allowed only five hits, to a 5-1 win at Haverford in their first Centennial Conference game of the season.

Edward Risener March 24: Muhlenberg splits with E-town
Muhlenberg split with Elizabethtown in its final non-conference doubleheader, winning the first game 4-1. Junior Edward Risener (right) had five hits in the twinbill, including his first career home run.
